E.O. Wilson saying
The famous biologist E. O. Wilson said, "If all mankind were to disappear, the world would regenerate back to the rich state of equilibrium that existed ten thousand years ago. If insects were to vanish, the environment would collapse into chaos." - Mankind should let that sink in. And position itself accordingly. Appreciate more of nature, in both senses of the word: (1) understand nature better and (2) value nature more. In these Covid-19-times, mankind faces many choices, changes, challenges and a new, more sustainable era could start. If mankind won't make the right decisions, the decisions will be made for us. Humans don't shape this world. Humans can't just take. We are temporary guests, together with all earthlings. Let's behave as good guests! Humans have so much to give too. Remember that sharing is often multiplying - sharing fun or knowledge makes it more. Go away from greed and focus on need. Sharing this world with more species is more interesting and makes us richer all together. Give and take. Let's find the balance.
